Well. This is just random stuff that I think you guys haven't seen before. (At least not on LJ. I know I posted some of this stuff on message boards.)

I got drag queen Tornado off eBay. That's right, not even a regular Big Brother pony, but one of the hard to find Mountain Boys. Tornado, that lipstick is . . . pretty! Um. Yes.

I tried everything to remove or fade the lipstick, to no avail. Tornado is adamant; he wants his lipstick, damn it!!!

One of these days I'm going to reroot him with rainbow pride hair since he's had a buzzcut.





If you have a good memory, you may recall a couple years back when I was asking for opinions on different color gems for eyes in custom ponies. Well, I did actually complete a set of six G3 Twinkle-Eyes! Here they are:



Kindle, the pony who encourages you to play with matches.



Preen, the peacock pony (who is a boy, of course, since male peafowl are the ones with the pretty feathers. WHAT? WHAT IS THAT LOOK, IT'S TRUE!)



Dragonfly, the first TE experiment and therefore the one with the worst eyes. (You can't tell from the pic, but there's green Kneadite leaking in around the jewel.



Cataract, her name is something of a pun as it refers both to an eye disease and a waterfall. I have friends who complain that Twinkle-Eye ponies look like they have cataracts . . . Thus Cataract. When I wrote the little backcard story for her, I decided to make her blind, too. Poor pony.



Carnival, with New Orleans colors, of course!



Beacon. The neck opening of the pegasus mold was so small that I had to carve it out with my Xacto knife . . . and I STILL lost multiple gem "eyes", which are now stuck to the inside of her head in random places. But I forgive her because she's a black pony and black ponies rock.

I really want to do a second set. Twinkle-Eyes rock (and I could get rid of some G3s I don't want anymore.)
